We manage a broad range of IT solutions for the EMEA region (Europe, middle east, Africa, Russia). The EMEA IT team consists of more than 150 IT professionals of which about 80 are based in the Netherlands. The IT department is divided into several teams being; CRM, Infrastructure, Business Intelligence Quality Systems, SAP Operations and HRIS. They all partner closely together with internal customers all over the world. To strengthen our IT Infrastructure Technical Operations team, we are looking for a senior IT technologist in Networking.

**A Day in the Life**

The Technical Operations team is responsible for all infrastructure projects. The scope includes business consultancy and demand intake/governance, architecture design mapping, and project delivery in collaboration with our PMO organization. Next to this, the team owns technology strategy and roadmaps, and together with global peers we collaborate on adjusting our technology strategy and standards to meet our business needs and increase our operational stability and efficiency.

As a Senior IT Technologist, you join a team of experienced engineers and work on projects to install, configure and maintain the IT infrastructure. Scope includes participating in design and assessments, to executing and ensuring hand-over to our operations teams. Further you work closely with your global peers to leverage knowledge and time zones.Next to this, you will be responsible for executing pilots for new technology and create standard work delivery packages and configuration standards.

**Must Haves**

+ Bachelor / Master degree in a relevant discipline

+ 5~7 years of experience with enterprise environments

+ Cisco certification (CCNP/CCDP)

+ Broad technical expertise and willingness to learn new technologies. Technical focus areas:

+ Deployment and configuration of Cisco enterprise routing switching Infrastructure,

+ including Cisco nexus, 9k platform, WAAS, VPN/DMVPN, MPLS, BGP

+ Deployment and configuration of Cisco wireless deployments

+ San networking / MDS

+ Deployment and configuration of Infoblox

+ Network security (Juniper and Checkpoint)

+ Interpersonal Skills:

+ Strong customer focus

+ Eager to learn

+ Business communication

+ Perfect command of the English language

+ Ability to work in a Global Team

**Nice to Haves**

+ Experience in any of these areas would be considered as a plus:

+ Cisco IP Telephony

+ F5 load balancers

+ VMware networking (VDS/NSX) / software defined networking
