+ This is a day-shift position but flexibility is needed to cover other shifts for vacation and to meet other business needs.

+ Supervise all essential activities that are necessary within the assigned work center. To include; shift metrics such as labor efficiency, absorption, and non-conformances/quality compliance issue.

+ Proactively monitor production schedules, forecasts, and customer order status, implementing corrective actions to meet factory service schedule.

+ Responsible for quality output of assigned production area.

+ Lead, coach, mentor team leaders to meet or exceed job requirements.

+ Initiate and implement process improvements and cost savings projects.

+ Ensure that each team personnel are up to date on all training requirements.

+ Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, cGMP, ISO, FDA, and OSHA.

+ Working with team leaders on employee performance and development activities. To include consistently enforcing progressive corrective action as needed.

+ Responsible for accident prevention through training and removing potential hazards from department.

+ Identify and resolve issues with other departments as appropriate

+ Lead, coach, mentor other supervisors and team leaders.

+ Write CAPA investigations and aid team leaders in writing/approving investigations where needed.

+ Work with Focus Factory Manager to develop strategies and plans for cost controls and business direction.

+ Will work with Focus Factory Manager to develop a shift and department budget.

+ Will assist in the establishment of department policies and procedures.

+ Hire and work with supervisors and team leaders to review employees and to set common goals for employees.

+ Identify and resolve issues with other Departments as appropriate.

+ Establish and maintain a culture of 6S and audits for the assigned shifts.

+ Other duties as assigned with or without accommodation.

**Do you have these educational, professional or academic certifications?**

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering or a related field from an accredited four (4) year college or university required.

**Do you have these experiences, skills and qualifications?**

+ 5 or more years of experience in production management or service management with budgetary responsibility in a regulated environment required.

+ Project management experience preferred.

+ Computer skills (MS Office). Ability to use both PC and operating systems

+ Critical thinking

+ Oral and written communications

+ Decision-making skills.

+ Knowledge of Lean or 6-sigma or certification is required

+ A thorough understanding of quality system standards (ISO, FDA quality system regulations).

+ Excellent interaction skills with the ability to achieve results.

**_Organizational Relationships/Scope:_**

_This position reports to the Manufacturing Manager. This position does require the supervision of other employees._

**_Working Conditions:_**

Normal office conditions with routine visits throughout the warehouse, receiving and shipping areas. These areas include hazards for temperature fluctuation and light machinery such as forklift traffic. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, hear and use hands and arms to reach. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, lift and use hands or fingers to handle office equipment, controls or to feel objects. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the office environment is low to moderate; in the warehouse areas, noise level may be moderate to high for short periods.
